National employment and graduate visa

With validity from April 2022 the Government of Slovakia adopted regulation on issuance of national visa to 2.000 Ukrainian, Serbian and Belorussian bus and truck drivers and 3.000 third country graduates of Slovak, Czech and the world top 500 universities and to graduates of universities who will be employed in highly skilled professions in Slovakia.

The application process for national visa is simpler than regular procedure, work permit is not required and national visa enable them to travel to Slovakia and stay for up to one year.
