Barbora has also graduated from the Law Faculty of Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. She has worked for 7 years as a lawyer at the United Nations Agency for Refugees in Slovakia and for 9 years she has worked as a lawyer in the Human Rights League. All these years she has dedicated to building expertise in migration and asylum law. She has co-authored the Commentary to the Slovak Act on Asylum, published several articles and held lectures about various topics related to migration in Slovakia and abroad. She has many years of experience as a lawyer representing clients in front of state authorities, courts, the European court of Human Rights and the UN Committee for the Rights of the Child. In 2021 she was one out of 18 nominated for the Flamma award for outstanding female lawyers in Czech and Slovak Republic. Since 2021 she has joined Peter in his office and is advising Ukrainians, Serbians, Russians and others on how to settle in Slovakia. She is dedicated and client oriented.
